The Blue Devils now own a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they host Pittsfield for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. Quincy will clash with a Saukees team coming off a 22-4 non-league win over Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL). The Saukees record now stands at 12-2.

With the defeat, Rock Island drops to 5-8 on the year. The Rocks host Geneseo (Geneseo, IL) to clash with the Maple Leafs in a Western Big Six test on Monday, April 21. The Maple Leafs go into the test with a record of 8-9. Geneseo won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL)
