The St. John Paul II Lions baseball team scored 31 runs and held the host Rising Tide to 0 in the Lions league win on Wednesday.
The Lions now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Williams for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. St. John Paul II will play a Bishops team coming off a 6-5 league win over Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Bishops record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Rising Tide drops to 0-4 on the year. The host Nantucket (Nantucket, MA) to play the Whalers in a Cape & Islands test on Wednesday, April 30. The Whalers go into the test with a record of 3-4.
