The West Michigan Lutheran Mustangs baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Saugatuck Trailblazers to 2 in the Mustangs non-league win on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now own a 1-0 record.

With the defeat, Saugatuck drops to 2-6 on the year. The Trailblazers host Fennville (Fennville, MI) to play the Blackhawks in a Southwestern - North test on Thursday, April 17. The Blackhawks go into the test with a record of 1-4. Fennville lost 19-1 in their recent league test against Watervliet (Watervliet, MI)
