In Wednesday's league challenge, the host North Bergen Bruins volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Union City Soaring Eagles.

The Bruins (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Hudson Catholic got by Belleville (Belleville, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Soaring Eagles meet the Snyder Tigers (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 21. Union City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ).
