In Thursday's league challenge, the host Peninsula Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the South Spartans.
The Panthers (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Woodbridge was beaten by St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 18. South will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 21-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Valencia (Valencia, CA).
