The Hillside Hornets soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Hornets now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a DC-VI 4A bout on Thursday, April 17. Hillside will play a Tigers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Cristo Rey Research Triangle moves to 0-11 on the year. The Bulls travel to Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 23. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Henderson Collegiate lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC)
