The Currituck County Knights soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Holmes Aces to 2 in the Knights league victory on Wednesday.

The Knights now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Northeastern for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Thursday, April 17. Currituck County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Holmes moves to 11-6 on the year. The Aces host First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to play the Nighthawks in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Thursday, April 17. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 14-2. First Flight won 9-0 in their recent league bout against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)
