Virginia High School Baseball - Patrick County loses to Alleghany

The Patrick County Cougars baseball squad (Stuart, VA), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA)

With the triumph, Alleghany moves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Cougars host Staunton (Staunton, VA) to confront the Storm in a non-league contest on Monday, April 21. The Storm come into the contest with a record of 3-4. Staunton won 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Riverheads (Staunton, VA)

The Cougars now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host James River for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 22. Patrick County will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.
