The McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) baseball trounced the visiting St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD), 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. McDonogh will clash with a Saints team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD). The Saints record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, St. John's Catholic Prep falls to 1-3 on the campaign.
