In Wednesday's non-league test, the Bard Raptors (New York, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ), by a tally of 17-2.
Next, the Raptors clash with the Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. Bard will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 13-9 non-league loss to Newark Tech (Newark, NJ).
The Blue Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Tech (Newark, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Tech was routed by West Caldwell Tech (West Caldwell, NJ), 18-11, in a league test.
