The Northmont Thunderbolts overwhelmed the visiting Beavercreek Beavers softball squad by a count of 15-7 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Thunderbolts meet the Springfield Wildcats (Springfield, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio challenge, on Friday, April 18. Northmont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 9-5 league loss to Centerville (Centerville, OH).
The Beavers (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Loveland (Loveland, OH). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Loveland was routed by West Clermont (Cincinnati, OH), 10-5, in a league challenge.
