Ohio High School Softball - Westland bested by Big Walnut

The Big Walnut Golden Eagles triumphed over the host Westland Cougars softball squad by a count of 27-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Hayes Pacers (Delaware, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Capital challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Big Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Pacers enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 12-1 league win over Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH).

The Cougars (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH). The Wolves enter the Ohio Capital - Capital challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Worthington Kilbourne was routed by Hayes (Delaware, OH), 12-1, in a league challenge.
