In Wednesday's non-league test, the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), by a count of 15-0.

Next, the Jaguars meet the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 test, on Saturday, April 19. Capital will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 16-3 record after their 15-3 league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).

The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the 4A District 2 test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Los Alamos toppled Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 8-7, in a league test.
