Arkansas High School Softball - Elkins edges Charleston

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR) and the visiting Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR), observed Elkins's softball team get by Charleston by a tally of 10-8.

The Elks (12-8) will now prepare for their bout against Greenland (Greenland, AR). The Pirates go into the 3A Region 1 bout with a 16-5 record. In their last bout, Greenland tipped County Line (Branch, AR), 9-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 21. Charleston will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record.
