In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Clare Pioneers softball team scored a nice 21-0 win over the Gladwin Flying G's.

The Pioneers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Bluejays come into the Jack Pine match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Shepherd notched a victory over St. Louis (St. Louis, MI), 16-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Flying G's battle the Pinconning Spartans (Pinconning, MI) in a Jack Pine match, on Thursday, April 17. Gladwin will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 8-1 league loss to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI).
