The Crystal Lake Central Tigers triumphed over the host Crystal Lake South Gators softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Crystal Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record. The Thunder enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 5-3 league loss to Harvard (Harvard, IL).

The Gators (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Cavaliers enter the non-league challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, LaSalle-Peru overcame Webster Thomas (Webster, NY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
