The Hopkins Royals softball squad (Minnetonka, MN), was routed 4-1 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Edina Hornets (Edina, MN)

With the triumph, Edina improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN) to meet the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, April 18. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 0-6.

The Royals (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Bison go into the test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Buffalo held off Moorhead (Moorhead, MN), 13-8, in a non-league test.
