Oregon High School Softball - Umpqua Valley Christian bounces Elkton

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) and the visiting Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR), observed Umpqua Valley Christian's softball team notch a victory over Elkton by a final score of 25-3.

The Monarchs (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR). The Hornets go into the 2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Elks battle the Yoncalla Eagles (Yoncalla, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 bout, on Saturday, April 19. Elkton will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Riddle (Riddle, OR).
