West Virginia High School Softball - Fairmont Senior Lewis County

In Wednesday's league test, the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) softball squad the visiting Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV), by a tally of 9-6.

Next, the Minutemen clash with the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten test, on Friday, April 18. Lewis County will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Bees go into the test with a 3-8 record after their 13-2 league loss to North Marion (Farmington, WV).

The Polar Bears (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Colts go into the Big Ten test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Philip Barbour was routed by Petersburg (Petersburg, WV), 10-8, in a non-league test.
