California High School Softball - Franklin sneaks past Monterey Trail

April 16, 2025: Elk Grove, CA 95624

The Franklin Wildcats softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Monterey Trail Mustangs to 7 in the Wildcats league win on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheldon for a Delta League battle on Monday, April 21. Franklin will confront a Huskies team coming off a 13-3 league win over Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Monterey Trail moves to 8-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Sheldon (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Huskies in a Delta League battle on Friday, April 18. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 14-5. Sheldon won 5-0 in their recent league battle against Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA)
