The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ) and the visiting Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), observed Paramus's softball team prevail over Hackensack by a tally of 17-3.

The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ). The Maroons go into the Big North - Freedom bout with a 3-4 record.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Hackensack will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 14-4 league loss to Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ).
