New York High School Softball - Hewlett bounces Lawrence

The Hewlett Bulldogs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Lawrence Golden Tornadoes to 2 in the Bulldogs league win on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Malverne for a Section 8 ABC-4 battle on Thursday, April 17. Hewlett will confront a Mules team coming off a 24-2 league loss to Hewlett (Hewlett, NY). The Mules record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Lawrence moves to 0-1 on the season. The Golden tornadoes host Hewlett (Hewlett, NY) to confront the Bulldogs in a Class A Conference 3 battle on Thursday, May 8. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 9-1.
