Ohio High School Softball - Hilltop tipped by Montpelier

The Hilltop Cadets softball squad (West Unity, OH), 5-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH)

With the triumph, Montpelier improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Locomotives travel to Edon (Edon, OH) to face the Bombers in a Buckeye Border contest on Thursday, April 17. The Bombers enter the contest with a record of 1-7. Edon lost 14-1 in their recent league contest against Hilltop (West Unity, OH)

The Cadets now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Gorham Fayette for a Buckeye Border contest on Thursday, April 17. Hilltop will face a Eagles squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Waldron (Waldron, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.
