The Unity Christian Crusaders softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Holland Christian Maroons to 3 in the Crusaders league win on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zeeland West for a Ottawa-Kent - Blue battle on Tuesday, April 22. Unity Christian will encounter a Dux team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Rockford (Rockford, MI). The Dux record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Holland Christian moves to 2-2 on the season. The Maroons host Hopkins (Hopkins, MI) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 2-2. Hopkins won 11-3 in their recent non-league battle against Plainwell (Plainwell, MI)
