The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL), observed Providence Catholic's softball team get by Montini Catholic by a tally of 14-13.

The Celtics (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars go into the GCAC- Red bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Fenwick was nipped by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 15-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Montini Catholic will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record.
