In Wednesday's league test, the Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA), by a count of 5-0.

Next, the Titans meet the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a Cumberland test, on Friday, April 18. Twin Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 20-0 league win over Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA).

The Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Eastside (Coeburn, VA). The Spartans go into the Cumberland test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Eastside held off Brighton (Rochester, NY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
