The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) and the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH), observed Waterloo's softball team prevail over Western Reserve by a tally of 18-0.

The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH). The Tiger go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Lake Center Christian was routed by Rootstown (Rootstown, OH), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet bout, on Thursday, April 17. Western Reserve will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 12-2 league win over McKinley (Sebring, OH).
