Florida High School Baseball - Jay edges Central

April 16, 2026: Milton, FL 32570

The Jay Royals baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Central Jaguars to 5 in the Royals non-league win on Thursday.

The Royals now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northview for a non-league test on Friday, April 17. Jay will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Baker (Baker, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 17-8.

With the defeat, Central drops to 16-7 on the year.
