California High School Baseball - Polytechnic defeats Chadwick

April 16, 2026: Pasadena, CA 91106

The Polytechnic Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Chadwick Dolphins to 4 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now own a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary for a non-league test on Friday, April 17. Polytechnic will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-5.

With the defeat, Chadwick drops to 9-7 on the year. The Dolphins host Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to play the Kares in a Prep game on Tuesday, April 21. The Kares go into the game with a record of 7-5. Rio Hondo Prep won 5-4 in their recent league game against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA)
