Colorado High School Baseball - Simla defeats Kiowa

April 16, 2026: Kiowa, CO 80117

The Simla Cubs baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Kiowa Indians to 7 in the Cubs league win on Thursday.

The Cubs now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flatirons Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, April 18. Simla will play a Bison team coming off a 14-0 league win over Denver Academy (Denver, CO). The Bison record now stands at 12-1.

With the defeat, Kiowa drops to 8-5 on the year. The Indians host Evangel Christian Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, April 18. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 6-4. Evangel Christian Academy won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Rocky Mountain Lutheran (Denver, CO)
