North Carolina High School Baseball - Owen edged by Madison

Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), 4-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Madison moves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Patriots host Mitchell (Bakersville, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a Western Highlands 2A/3A match on Tuesday, April 21. The Mountaineers come into the match with a record of 7-12.

The Warhorses now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Henderson for a non-league match on Monday, April 20. Owen will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.
