Missouri High School Baseball - Mark Twain wallops Van-Far

April 16, 2026: Center, MO 63436

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO) and the visiting Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), saw Mark Twain's baseball team gain a win over Van-Far by a tally of 16-1.

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO). The Thunderbirds enter the Class 3 District 8 battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, North Callaway prevailed over Northwest (Hughesville, MO), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Indians face the Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO) in a Class 2 District 5 battle, on Friday, April 17. Van-Far will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
