New Mexico High School Baseball - Questa wallops McCurdy

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Questa Wildcats (Questa, NM) and the host McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM), saw Questa's baseball team gain a win over McCurdy by a tally of 27-1.

The Wildcats (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mora (Mora, NM). The Rangers enter the 2A District 5 battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Mora prevailed over Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM), 19-11, in a league battle.

Next, the Bobcats face the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) in a 2A District 5 battle, on Saturday, April 18. McCurdy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 7-11 record after their 19-6 non-league loss to Estancia (Estancia, NM).
