Illinois High School Baseball - Princeton loses to Mendota

Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL), 9-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Mendota moves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Trojans host Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL) to confront the Royals in a non-league match on Friday, April 17. The Royals come into the match with a record of 2-6. Hinckley-Big Rock lost 14-1 in their recent league match against Somonauk (Somonauk, IL)

The Tigers now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monmouth-Roseville for a non-league match on Saturday, April 18. Princeton will confront a Titans squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to Orion (Orion, IL). The Titans record now stands at 4-8.
