Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Scranton Prep defeats West Scranton

The Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) baseball the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), 9-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wallenpaupack Area for a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Monday, April 20. Scranton Prep will clash with a Buckhorns team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY). The Buckhorns record now stands at 8-3.

With the defeat, West Scranton drops to 3-7 on the year. The Invaders host Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 18. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Pocono Mountain West lost 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA)
