The Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) baseball trounced the host Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ), 12-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 17. Shadow Ridge will clash with a Lions team coming off a 11-1 league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Apollo drops to 5-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to West Point (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Dragons in a challenge on Monday, April 20. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 8-6. West Point lost 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ)
