Fans at Thursday's league test between the Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA) and the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA), witnessed Compton's lacrosse squad hold off Long Beach Poly by a count of 7-6.

The Tarbabes (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Knights enter the Moore test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Lynwood was nipped by Downey (Downey, CA), 12-6, in a league test.

Next, the Jackrabbits battle the Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore test, on Monday, April 20. Long Beach Poly will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Rams enter the test with a 10-2 record after their 11-7 league win over Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA).
