Pennsylvania High School Softball - Big Spring bounces West Perry

April 16, 2026: Newville, PA 17241

In Thursday's league match, the host Big Spring Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 19-1 victory over the West Perry Mustangs.

The Bulldogs (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA). The Indians go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Waynesboro was routed by New Oxford (New Oxford, PA), 21-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 17. West Perry will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Blackhawks go into the match with a 9-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Halifax (Halifax, PA).
