The Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) softball routed the host Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), 14-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlsbad for a 5A District 4 outing on Tuesday, April 21. Hobbs will encounter a Cavemen team coming off a 13-3 league win over Roswell (Roswell, NM). The Cavemen record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Clovis moves to 3-15 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Roswell (Roswell, NM) to encounter the Coyotes in a 5A District 4 outing on Tuesday, April 21.
