California High School Softball - Colton gets by Summit

April 16, 2026: Colton, CA 92324

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Colton Yellowjackets (Colton, CA) and the visiting Summit SkyHawks (Fontana, CA), observed Colton's softball team get by Summit by a tally of 8-7.

The Yellowjackets (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 3-18 record. In their last bout, San Gorgonio was nipped by Arroyo Valley (San Bernardino, CA), 6-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the SkyHawks clash with the Grand Terrace Titans (Grand Terrace, CA) in a Citrus bout, on Tuesday, April 21. Summit will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA).
