Utah High School Softball - Pine View succumbs to Dixie

April 16, 2026: St. George, UT 84770

In Thursday's league test, the Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Flyers clash with the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a 4A Region 9 test, on Tuesday, April 21. Dixie will attempt to advance on its 16-8 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 10-11 record after their 13-9 non-league win over Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT).

The Panthers (5-17) will now prepare for their test against Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region 9 test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Crimson Cliffs prevailed over Snow Canyon (St. George, UT), 13-5, in a league test.
