Texas High School Softball - LEE succumbs to Madison

April 16, 2026: San Antonio, TX 78247

In Thursday's league test, the Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting LEE Volunteers (San Antonio, TX), by a tally of 14-4.

Next, the Mavericks clash with the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 test, on Friday, April 17. Madison will attempt to advance on its 19-7 season record. The Rough Riders go into the test with a 3-20 record after their 16-0 league loss to Clark (San Antonio, TX).

The Volunteers (7-16) will now prepare for their test against Churchill (San Antonio, TX). The Chargers go into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 16-12 record. In their last test, Churchill was routed by Johnson (San Antonio, TX), 8-6, in a league test.
