The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) and the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), observed Middlesex's softball team notch a victory over West Point by a final score of 12-2.

The Chargers (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Royal Tigers go into the Tidewater bout with a 0-8 record. In their last bout, King & Queen Central was routed by Essex (Tappahannock, VA), 19-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pointers battle the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a Tidewater bout, on Tuesday, April 21. West Point will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 13-0 league loss to King William (King William, VA).
