In Saturday's non-league game, the host Lakeview Huskies baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Plymouth Wildcats.
The Huskies (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Lake Shore (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Shorians go into the Macomb Area - Gold game with a 0-1 record.
The Wildcats (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Belleville (Belleville, MI). The Tigers go into the Kensington Lakes - Central game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Belleville was edged by Novi (Novi, MI), 9-5, in a league game.
