Utah High School Baseball - Orem defeats Alta

Orem Tigers (Orem, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT), 9-2 in a league test.

With the win, Orem upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mountain View (Orem, UT) to battle the Bruins in a 5A Region 8 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 7-9. Mountain View won 12-3 in their recent league test against Timpview (Provo, UT)

With the defeat, Alta falls to 7-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to Hillcrest (Midvale, UT) to battle the Huskies in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 1-10. Hillcrest lost 14-4 in their recent league test against Payson (Payson, UT)
