The Oxford Wildcats baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans to 3 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Sedan (Sedan, KS). The Devils go into the South Central Border match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Sedan was overwhelmed by Udall (Udall, KS), 10-9, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Cedar Vale/Dexter falls to 0-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Udall (Udall, KS) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Udall won 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Sedan (Sedan, KS)
