Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 9-7 in a league test.

With the win, Holly Springs upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Golden Hawks travel to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to battle the Huskies in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 19. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 7-11. Heritage lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC)

With the defeat, Green Hope falls to 8-7 on the season. The Falcons host Cary (Cary, NC) to battle the Imps in a Southwest Wake 4A test on Wednesday, April 19. The Imps come into the test with a record of 5-11. Cary lost 23-2 in their recent league test against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC)
