Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC), 7-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Saluda upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Tigers host Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC) to battle the Rebels in a 2A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 8-0.
With the defeat, Pelion falls to 4-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC) to battle the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 3 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-4.
