The West Elk Patriots baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] Outlaws to 2 in the Patriots league victory on Monday.
The Patriots (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Erie (Erie, KS). The Red Devils go into the non-league match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Erie was overwhelmed by Caney Valley (Caney, KS), 23-2, in a league match.
The Outlaws (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Flinthills (Rosalia, KS). The Mustangs go into the South Central Border match with a 0-11 record.
