The Santa Monica Vikings volleyball team (Santa Monica, CA), went down 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA)

The Mustangs (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks come into the Bay challenge with a 19-8 record. In their last challenge, Redondo Union defeated Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Wednesday, April 19. Santa Monica will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Centaurs come into the challenge with a 9-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA).
